About Dr. Fields and Dr. Gallois Orthodontics

We strive to provide a warm and welcoming environment for every patient. Drs. Fields and Gallois work one-on-one with each patient to discuss their treatment options and what would be best for them. We schedule as much time as needed to discuss these options, so our patients never feel rushed or pressured to accept treatment.
Meet Our Doctors
After two years in the U.S. Navy as dental officer abroad the battleship New Jersey, Dr. Fields practiced general dentistry in Rhode Island for eighteen months. With a desire for further training, he returned to Tufts for two additional years of study the specialty of orthodontics and has practiced orthodontics exclusively since 1959.
Dr. Fields served as president of Family and Children’s Services and the Connecticut Society of Orthodontics and he has served on the Board of Directors at St. Luke’s Community Services and United Way. He taught for many years at Tufts University and the University of Bridgeport and currently is on the Foundation of Stamford Hospital.
Dr. Fields is a diplomat of the American Board of Orthodontics – an appointment that requires successful completion of a written test as well as an extensive clinical exam. He is also a member of the American Association of Orthodontics, Northeastern Society of Orthodontics, Connecticut Society of Orthodontics, elected to the Angle Society, Connecticut State Dental Association, American Dental Association and the Stamford Dental Society.
Following his dental training at Tufts University, Dr. Gallois completed a postgraduate hospital residency program at Beth Israel Medical Center in Newark, New Jersey and then entered private practice in 1993. After six years of practicing general dentistry in Stratford, Connecticut, Dr. Gallois decided to further his training in the specialty of orthodontics. He went on to complete a two-year orthodontic training program at Columbia University School of Dental and Oral Surgery in New York City, where he is now a faculty member.
Dr. Gallois is currently a member of the American Association of Orthodontics, Northeastern Society of Orthodontics, the American Dental Association, Connecticut State Dental Association and the Stamford Dental Society.
